Charlotte Danielson's Framework For Teaching

In addition to this resource, Enhancing Professional Practice: A Framework for Teaching, 2nd Edition by Charlotte Danielson is an excellent resource and tool for all educators!

 

ClassDojo

A wonderful classroom management system that will help improve positive behaviors and skills in the classroom. ClassDojo provides resources about how to use ClassDojo effectively with students, parents/guardians, and other teachers. I use ClassDojo in my classroom, and I see such great improvements from my students. I am so thankful for this resource!

 

Crayola Educators

A great resource that will help you integrate creativity and art into your lessons! Crayola provides hands-on lesson plans that are standards-based. This website also includes other useful classroom resources and articles about how to enrich your students’ learning experiences!

 

Discovery Education

Discovery Education provides Science, Technology, Social Studies, Math, and Language Arts lessons that will help engage students in a variety of ways. Other free classroom resources include clip art images, brain boosters, a puzzle maker, learning adventures, and more! 

 

GoNoodle

Wonderful website that has free brain breaks that can be incorporated inside the classroom. I enjoy incorporating these breaks into the "stretch break" times, and my students absoultely LOVE GoNoodle!

 

NCTM-National Council of Teachers of Mathematics

NCTM is the world's largest mathematics education organization. They have very helpful classroom resources, such as activities with rigor, online resources, problems of the week, and a library full of publications, research, and tasks.

 

PaTTAN

The Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network is a resource to support the Bureau of Special Education. This website provides great educational videos and resources in order to learn about how to become a more effective teacher with your students. There are also great resources that can be provided to families.

 

PBS Learning

Great digital resources for teachers to use in the classroom! Resources can be searched by subjects, grade levels, standards, and collections.

 

Principles to Actions: Ensuring Mathematical Success for All

This is definitely one of my favorite books! This text includes very specific teaching practices that are necessary for high-quality mathematics education. The 8 mathematical teaching practices are explained through examples, illustrations, and by providing you with teacher/student actions.

 

Scholastic Teachers

Scholastic Teachers is a great resource for teachers to use in order to find resources, strategies, ideas, activities, and more! There are also many videos available that provide professional development for teachers. 

 

Spelling City Website

The website includes free teacher resources and information on how to create a teacher account in order to upload weekly spelling lists for students to practice at home. Students can access their account on a computer or on an iPad by downloading the free app.

 

Teachers Pay Teachers

Very helpful resource for teachers to find lesson plans, activities, games, classroom management ideas, and more! There are even Promethean Board Flipcharts and activities! Includes all grades levels and subjects!

YouCubed

This resource has rich mathematical tasks, ideas for the classroom, and amazing resources. I especially love the resource called, "Mathematical Mindset Algebra." I loved incorporating lesson one from that resource. It helped me set up a productive culture for mathematics and group work.
